Workshop Event: Agile 101 for Social Impact

552 Victoria Street, North Melbourne VICAgile isn't just a buzzword for the tech industry - It's actually an incredibly valuable project delivery framework which has immense value to the not-for-profit and for-purpose sectors.

Our experience at Random Hacks of Kindness has shown that many for-purpose organisations, small and large alike, get so much out of experiencing a glimpse of agile delivery - and take that back to transform their own organisations. So we're wanting to share this learning with more organisations wanting to do good in better ways.

This free 101 session, brought to you by RHoK Australia, GetAgile and OurCommunity, is perfect for for-purpose and not-for-profit start ups. Useful for program, product and software development alike, it will help you and your organisation serve your audiences and communities in more flexible, innovative and person-centred ways.

When? 2pm – 7pm, Thursday 5th September

Where? Our Community House, 552 Victoria St, North Melbourne

In an interactive space with other organisations just like yours we'll cover the 'how' but also the 'why' of the growing worlds of agile and data science. This will include a:

  • A two hour Agile 101 session covering the fundamentals of agile project delivery.

  • An introduction to data science from the number crunches at Our Community

  • An invitation from RHoK to take your Agile and data journeys even further through our upcoming hackathons.

This event is focused on the not-for-profit and for-purpose sectors, and as tickets are limited we request that participants be actively working or volunteering in that space. This way we can maximise the benefit of the session for all.

If you're a professional wanting to get more exposed to these areas, we'd suggest getting along to the RHoK Summer hackathon.
